  • Dec, Fri, 2024

At AICS, our day is designed to foster academic excellence, spiritual growth, and personal development in a balanced environment. Here’s a look at a typical day at our school:

7:20 AM – Staff Devotion
The day begins with staff devotion, where we gather for prayer, worship, and reflection. This sets a positive tone for the day ahead.

7:50 AM – Student Devotion
At 7:50 AM, students join in devotion. On Mondays and Fridays, it’s a whole-school event, while on Tuesday to Thursday, student-led devotion takes place in individual learning centers. Asante Super Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM is a special time of praise, worship, and presentations celebrating Jesus.

8:30 AM – 10:00 AM – Academic Classes
Classes start at 8:30 AM, offering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and a love for learning.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Break Tea
From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, students take a 1-hour break to recharge with tea and snacks before returning to their lessons.

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Pace Work
After the break, students focus on pace work, progressing through personalized learning goals.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Lunch
At 1:00 PM, students gather for lunch, fostering community and connection.

Afternoon Activities for Preschool Students
From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, preschoolers enjoy activities like swimming, music, dance, Bible club, and cooking. They are given a snack at 3:30 PM, and parents can pick them up afterward.

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM – Clubs & Extracurriculars
Older students participate in clubs from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, discovering new talents and honing skills beyond academics.

5:00 PM – End of Day
By 5:00 PM, all students are expected to go home, preparing for the next day.

AICS is dedicated to nurturing the whole child through a balanced schedule that supports academic, spiritual, and personal growth.
